The NYC HIV Prevention Research Community Advisory Board (CAB) brings specific, unique expertise to the research process, informing researchers of local issues and/or concerns that can affect the conduct and successful implementation of our scientific agenda. The CAB provides advice on scientific and ethical issues regarding study design, recruitment, and the protection of study volunteers. Community perspectives are particularly important to us. They help us identify effective strategies to recruit and retain study participants.
